If the student is picked up before 4:00, the rate will be $2.50 per day instead of the former $2.00 per day.  All breakfast and lunch prices will increase $.10 to meet federal requirements.

Also approved were: building handbook changes as recommended; a one-year lease with Sacred Heart Church; building technology purchases; a new K-5 Math series from Houghton-Mifflin; supplemental contracts and teaching contracts for 2013-14; and two new electives, Drama and American War Studies, for Nemaha Valley Middle School.

In personnel matters, resignations were accepted from Kelly Williams, NVHS assistant football coach; Jennie Rusche, B&B girls head basketball coach; and Laurie Stallbaumer & Joan Buessing, B&B JH/SH scholars bowl coaches. A retirement notice from Paula Rottinghaus was accepted. Summer maintenance workers approved for employment were: Dane Brinker, Jordan Meyer, Trevor Heiman, Dylan Schmitz and Lindsey Lierz.
