The third graders from the Nemaha Central Elementary School for their “Pay it Forward” project, helped with landscaping at the Nemaha Central Elementary and Middle School on Wednesday, November 1. They pulled weeds out of the rock beds and picked up trash from around the school. Third grade has done this project for many years. There are fifty 3rd grade students in three classes and their teachers are Mrs. Tamela Becker, Mrs. Amy Larkin, and Mrs. Carissa Williams.

Ben Bletscher said, “Before there was a lot of weeds, but we pulled them all so there are none left."

“It was awesome and very fun,” said McKenzie Rottinghaus.
