The Nemaha Central Elementary and Middle School annual book fair is exciting for NCEMS students of all ages. The book fair was held in the library from November 1 through November 10. It’s a yearly event that lets students shop for books and other neat items. Jennifer Rottinghaus is in charge of the book fair, and she is responsible for selling books and other items to everyone.

There are a variety of books at the book fair, such as Dogman, Sisters, Refugee, Super Rawr, and many more. The students’ favorite books were Wonder, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, A Dog’s Purpose Novels, and Live or Die Survival Challenges. Some of the other favorite items were smartphone erasers, bookmarks, and pens.

The profit for the NCEMS book fair this year was $3,158.82.  This is more than last year’s profit. All the students had a good time at the NCEMS annual book fair. Thank you all for shopping at the book fair to support our school. Come back next year!

“I like to see how the book fair gets kids excited about reading. I love having the book fair during this time of the year. It’s a great time to kick off the holiday shopping,” said Jennifer Rottinghaus.

“My favorite part about the book fair is shopping for new books,” said Ali Lueger.
