On Monday, January 29, the Nemaha Central fourth grade class did a project on famous people of Kansas. The students had to make a video about their famous person of Kansas. The videos that the students made contained how they became famous, what they became famous for, and facts about their lives. The students dressed in costumes and lined up the hall to present their videos. Some of the famous Kansans that were portrayed in their videos were Frank Carney, Barry Sanders, James Naismith, Jordy Nelson, Vivian Vance, and Emmet Kelly. Everyone that attended the celebration had a really good time.

Jordan Lewis said, “My favorite part was when I got to dress up as Jordy Nelson.

Eli Sudbeck said, “I really enjoyed going out and presenting in front of everybody.”
