The second grade at Nemaha Central Elementary School went on a field trip to the Discovery Center in Topeka on Thursday, May 10. The students got to be active in many hands-on activities at the Discovery Center. They were able to build cars out of wood and make slopes to drive their cars on.  Students also enjoyed painting on the walls. Another enjoyable activity was building things and making obstacles along the way. The second graders learned about the body, animals, and many other things. This field trip kept students learning in a fun way.

Noah Hilbert said, “I liked the big tree house. I also liked to ride on the Zipline."

Zoey Streeter said, “I liked to paint on the walls. I also liked to ride the Zipline."
